The Vaasa region is home to versatile knowhow and strong resources that provide the means to respond to these energy business challenges. A significant share of Finland’s – and of all the Nordic countries’ – energy technological industry is concentrated to the Vaasa region. The strong competence that this area offers includes solutions for distributed energy production, distribution and consumption.

EnergyVaasa consists of businesses operating in this field, organizations serving these businesses, and the universities that develop and provide competent experts for the energy business. The aim is to ensure the existence of all prerequisites for the growth and development of energy-sector businesses operating here, far into the future.
